Since February of 1996, the Tacoma Contra Dance has been known for live and lively old-time fiddle music for enthusiastic beginning and veteran dancers of all ages in a smoke and alcohol-free environment.

Our dances are usually held in a beautiful hall built in 1920 in the grand Craftsman style, which has a wonderful ambiance, as well as a great wood floor to dance on. We've been told that this may be the best-looking contra dance hall in the Puget Sound area.
